Western Europe, Germany, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A charming antique 6-key piccolo made from wood with nickel-brass keys. The instrument dissembles into 3 parts. The dark wood is nearly black and highly lustrous, likely an African blackwood. The instrument comes with the original wooden case with a red cloth interior to cushion the piccolo. Size of piccolo: 11.8" L x 0.75" W (30 cm x 1.9 cm); case: 8.75" L x 3" W (22.2 cm x 7.6 cm)

Fair condition. Stable pressure to the wood on barrel, head joint, and mouth pieces. Green patina to the nickel keys. Comes with original wooden case. Scuffs and chips to wood exterior and losses to cloth interior and staining. Has not been tested for playing functionality. Piccolo disassembles and fits into case. No marker marks.
