The ensemble presents an array of Classical subjects including a Greek hoplite wielding a spear and shield while riding a horse drawn chariot, an erote riding a fierce lion, a double pendant of two winged Nikes - each one holding a victory wreath, a double pendant of Hermes/Mercury - the god of commerce, wealth, messages, travel, luck, and trickery - wearing his winged hat and holding a caduceus and a money bag - one accompanied by a goat and the other accompanied by a large rooster (both animals traditionally associated with the god). Size: largest sheet measures 9.75" W x 7.5" H (24.8 cm x 19 cm)

Condition
Small staples in corners of several of the prints. A few stains and pencil notes in margins. A few tears to margins as shown, but these do not interfere with the engraved image. Engraving with erote was cut from the margin and has small losses to upper and lower left corners. Some wear to hand coloring, but still vivid.
