A fine vintage brass and steel monocular microscope with 3 objectives and the original wooden case and lenses. Manufactured by the Bausch and Lomb Optical Company, the handsome instrument is comprised of painted iron feet, a frame, and polished brass attachments. The frame features a body tube, adjustment knobs, a revolving nosepiece, a circular stage with clips, and an adjustable concave mirror. The drawer contains the 2 different eye lenses and 2 brass capsule cases. The patent dates and maker names are stamped on the frame and stage. The microscope comes with the original wooden storage box with a brass handle for travel. Inside is a drawer with storage for the eye lenses. The original magnification chart is pinned on the door for ease of reference. A great decorative piece for an office!
