A hand-made folk art basket made with wooden balls strung on metal interior supports and painted in a beautiful palette of petal pink, seafoam green, sky blue, and lemon yellow hues with sky blue arched handles and a circular wooden base that is painted yellow on the interior and sky blue on the edges. The bottom of the basket is covered with felt to protect whatever surface it is placed upon. A beautiful example of American folk art. Expected age wear to painted surfaces. Age cracks and abrasions to interior of base, but secure with felt on underside. In addition to presenting an attractive design and coloration, most of the beads spin nicely around the metal wires within.
