Northwestern Europe, England, Birmingham, ca. 1928 CE. A lovely sterling silver condiment pot made by Docker & Burn Ltd, with a silver spoon. This petite pot has a hinged lid with a scallop shaped knob, and a glass insert for holding mustard or other sauces. The lid is stamped with the maker and hallmarks, as is the side of the vessel. The pot is supported by four knobbed feet, and the cobalt glass dish is removable for ease of cleaning. An elegant condiment holder that cuts the mustard in terms of craftsmanship! Condition
Spoon maker marks are soft and mostly illegible, and this may not be the matching spoon for this pot. Minor nicks and scratches to glass, otherwise pot is intact and very good. Silver has areas of cleanable patina and minor surface wear. Hallmarks are legible.
