Mount Vernon was the home of George Washington. The Washington family took possession of it in 1690, and broke ground on the famous mansion in 1743. Following his marriage in 1759, Washington established his household after his marriage in 1759 and would live at Mount Vernon until the beginning of the Revolution. He would return to Mount Vernon following the war.

Condition
Lithograph has not been examined outside the frame. It appears to show three vertical fold marks, a few stains, and normal toning to paper. Minor tears to gallery paper on verso that do not impact the image. Wired for suspension.
