Christoffe II van Sichem (Dutch, 1581-1658). Three biblical woodcut engravings by Dutch Golden Age woodcutter and engraver Christoffe van Sichem the Younger from "Historien ende prophecien wt der H. Schrifturen, met schoone figueren, door Christophorum a Sichem ende met devote gebeden ende danckbaerheden tot Godt" by P.J. Paets, 1644. Each one is identified at the top with the page number and subject (Fall of Lucifer, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the life of the honorable Susanna). A wonderful trio of 17th century woodcut engravings set in an attractive frame behind glass. Size of sight view for each page: 5.5" L x 3.5" W (14 cm x 8.9 cm) Size of frame: 9.4" L x 15.75" W (23.9 cm x 40 cm)

Condition
Woodcuts have not been examined outside the frame. Normal toning to pages but images are vivid and one can see the silhouette of the text on the versos. Handwritten below the Lucifer image is "unif Rubens".
