Fit with a brown leather cover, the fascinating book was printed by John Beale for George Humble to sell in Popes-head Palace at the sign of the White Horse in London in 1623. Label from previous owner on interior of front cover and a few notes from previous owners throughout. Watermarks of grapes and coats of arms on some pages. Some losses to cover and staining to pages. Losses to lower right corner of title and dedication pages. Miniscule tearing to peripheries of a few other pages. Tear at bottom of page 1125/1126. Otherwise, excellent.
