  One might imagine that the path towards liberation often begins with obstacles & struggles. If one meditates with single pointedness, one could gain clarity & realisations. The peacock here symbolises the removal of the poisons of ignorance & arrogance, while the Medicine Buddha manifests & guides the practitioner on his sacred journey towards Rangwang, or freedom.
