  A Bhutanese contemporary artist for over 20 years, Tintin, as he is popularly referred to, re-examines Buddhist and Bhutanese concepts, freeing them from their expected, familiar contexts and reframing their meaning.

  The painting is an inspiration from our old traditional thangka and redefining its meaning through recomposition, telling a different story of human struggle.
