The "MA" syllable is associated with dissolving jealousy and the attachment to fleeting pleasures. It lives within the samsaric realm of jealous gods and reciting "MA" over and over helps us loosen our jealous attachments while cultivating ethical behavior.
About the Artist:
Eduard Sangadzhiev, an artist from Kalmykia, Russia, now based in New York City, channels his Kalmyk heritage and values into his art. A graduate of Moscow's High Art and Industrial School in monumental and decorative painting, he began his career exhibiting across Russia and the U.S. Inspired by nature, his landscapes often honor the Kalmyk steppes, reflecting a sense of "small motherland." Known for his portrait work, Eduard captures the spirit and vibrancy of life with a style that exudes light and joy.
