Eboracensis Comitatus (Cuius Incolae Olim Brigantes Appellabantur)... Christopher Saxton (1542-1610). Engraved map with original hand color in full. London, 1577. 22 x 29 1/2 inches sheet, 32 x 39 inches framed. This map, of all three Ridings (West, East, and North) in Yorkshire, is from Saxtons atlas of England and Wales. Yorkshire is the only county to be engraved over two separate plates, due to its size.
