Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC An Egyptian, New Kingdom wooden top of the kherep (or aba or skhem) sceptre, composed of a lower part in a rectangular shape with a flat section and the upper part depicting the shape of Nemes, the most famous headwear of ancient Egypt. Size: 72-85mm x 10-17mm; Weight: 35g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Christie's, 29 Oct 2003, Lot 180.
