Ca. 202 BC - AD 220 A Chinese terracotta goose. The figure is depicted to be standing upright, supported on bronze legs. The face and body are decorated with yellow and black pigments respectively. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. Size: 250mm x 250mm; Weight: 1.35kg Provenance: East Anglian private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong.
