2,020 made between 1891-1896. A handful were engraved and few are known with presentations. Revolver has inscription engraved on left side of barrel, "PRESENTED TO / TOM HORN / BY HIS FRIEND JOHN COBLE". The revolver has a 5 3/4" barrel and 2-pc smooth bone grips. Engraved in L.D. Nimschke style with fine foliate arabesque pattern on frame and sides of barrel, ejector housing web, backstrap, buttstrap & triggerguard. The cylinder has matching engraving between the flutes and at the back edge. It has a lanyard stud & ring in buttstrap. Accompanied by a copy of the January 1978 Gun Report magazine, illustrated on p. 18. Also, accompanied by a letter from former owner Douglas C. Baldwinches CONDITION: Very good. No original finish remains being a cleaned metal color overall with some very fine pitting around muzzle, on ejector housing and face of cylinder. Ejector housing has a few light dents & dings. Grips are ivory patina with age lines around bottom edges. Not inspected internally. Provenance: Reverend Myers, California G.L.
