To the unaided eye, the varnish layer has yellowed in some areas. There is a 1/2 " gap at top where the canvas meets the frame. Under ultraviolet light there are no signs of repair or restoration. The piece is framed in a brown wood moulding with gold face, linen liner and gold filet. The frame is in good condition with slight separation at all four corners. Name Plate: From Salmon to Phoenix
