To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in fair condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows normal fluorescence of artist's pigments. There are a few areas exhibiting paint loss. These are located about 8.5" from the top and 3.5" from the left side; 11" from the top, 5" from the left; 9" from the top, 5" from the left; 8.5" from the top, 6" from the left; 9.5" from the top, 9.5" from the left; 13.5 from the top, 12.5" from the left; 10" from the top, extending 4" from right edge; 1.5" from the top, 5" from the left; 2" from the top, 16" from left; and 8" from the top, 14.5" from the left side of the piece. The piece is in a semi-ornate antiqued gold frame with a linen liner. The frame is in good condition, showing normal signs of wear.
