Condition
Condition: Good
To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. There are a few areas exhibiting pigment loss. About 3" from the top right corner, there is a vertical scratch in the piece that is about 3" long, which reveals some of the lower layers of pigment. About 5" from the top left corner, as well as 2" inches to the left of the signature there also appears to be some pigment loss. There is a small white spot on the surface of the piece about 3" down from the top left corner. The piece also exhibits some crazing throughout it's surface, as well as splatter marks that fluoresce differently from the majority of the pigment under ultraviolet light. The piece is in a semi-ornate antiqued gold frame. The frame is in good condition, but does show signs of wear congruent with its age.
