To the unaided eye, the piece looks to be in very good condition. Under ultraviolet light there is normal fluorescence of artist's pigments, and no signs of restoration or repair. The frame is in very good condition. It is a rustic wood frame with a gold liner and white linen inner liner. Verso: written by the artist, on linen, 'Sweet Talking Man You make up your own story and use your imagination! Bill Owen CA' CA Labels stapled to frame.
