- Lot Description
William Wegman (American, b. 1943-), "Candid Cardinal"-1990, unique color Polaroid print, signed and dated lower right in black ink, titled lower center in black ink. Contemporary photograph depicting the artist's typical subject of a grey Weimaraner dog in costume. Work with standing elongated dog at center wrapped in red cloth on black setting. Framed approximately 30" x 25.5". Photographic print approximately 28.5" x 22".
Condition
Work has been laid down. Some edges rolling up on sides. Small tear to top edge. Circular loss on right side on upper right. Scattered scratches to surface including one more severe (white) and visible in black background in upper right. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
