English, possibly Scottish, late 19th/early 20th century. A William and Mary stained walnut and upholstered settee sofa having a padded back, sides and seat with overstuffed cushion raised on four front C-scroll supports united by a carved, pierced, scroll and foliate stretcher and block and ring-turned medial and lateral stretchers, terminating on scrolled toes. Approximate height 35", width 91.5", seat depth 21", seat height".
