Waterman Paris (French, 1883- ). A Waterman "Ideal" fountain pen, Bicentenaire Edition. The limited edition Le Man style pen created in recognition of the 200 year anniversary of the French Revolution, with 18k gold nib and accents on a black shaft and cap, with double band clip punctuated on end with medallion decorated with three flying birds and "1789" above "1989" referencing the 200 year anniversary of the French Revolution. Inscribed on nib "Waterman Ideal Paris, 18k, 750, France", and on top of cab "Bicentenaire de la Revolucion Francaise". Pen accompanied by original navy blue leather box with lined interior, extra ink cartridges, certificate of authenticity, and manual. Also with wooden presentation box with red wax seals. Pen measures approximately 5.75" long.
Ink cartridge is missing, so this pen does not write. Pen produced in 1989. Unsure of edition number.
