Vertical woodblock print depicting a domestic interior scene with a spinning wheel to foreground beside a draped table holding a tall potted plant, all casting dramatic shadows to wall behind. Inscribed lower left margin near edge "002 SPINNING WHEEL (wood engr.) 800". Framed approximately 16" x 14.5". Sheet size approximately 12.125" x 10.5" (tapering). Image size approximately 4.75" x 3.875". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia. Reference: Winnan 57. Examined out of the frame. Sheet with deckled right edge, not laid down and affixed to back mat board with two pieces of hinging tape along top edge. Sheet overall with light and even toning, band of mat burn near sheet edge, and minor area of foxing at lower left margin near corner. Sheet with minor rippling commensurate with general handling. No apparent tears, abrasions, pinholes, or losses.
