French, 19th century. Louis XV style game table of near square form with hand painted and tooled leather top with insect and butterfly motif above four small pull out drawers on undulating apron. Game or card table raised on cabriole legs with scrolled accent above hoof feet. Approximate height 27.3", width 26", depth 26.5".
Structurally sound but with slight wobble. Leather top has cracking, lifting, rings and stains (probably deeper rings from hot beverages see image #7). Some paint loss to insects. Evidence of prior worm wood damage. Slight separation at joints. Patched repair to one side upper left on apron; replaced wood. On same side drawer has been rebuilt and tilts up when removing (see image #3). New runner. Crack to hoof feet commensurate with age and usage (see image #9).
