Walker Inglis Anderson (American (Mississippi),1903-1965), "Bee", woodblock print, apparently unsigned. Original artist's woodblock print from his Alphabet series (circa 1945) with Bee vertically aligned in upper left corner with flowers and vine with large winged bumble bee drinking flower nectar. Inscribed in blue ball point pen on back. Framed approximately 31" x 24". Sight size approximately 24.5" x 18.25".
Four larger water damage drops in lower region of work. Foxing and some scattered marks or stains, not particularly noticeable. Lower edge with remnant of tape.
