- Lot Description
Vladimir Kagan (American, b. 1927-) for Weiman Preview (American, founded 1979), circa 1990s. A modern sculptural 'Bilbao' sofa having serpentine shaped seat with tall rounded back that runs three quarter length tapering in height, covered in orange fabric. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 38", width 95", seat depth 23.5", seat height 15". Note: Inspired by the curves and undulations of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Sofa is structurally sound. There are no rips, tears or odors in the upholstery. There is minor fading in a couple of spots on the seat not distracting. There is a couple of areas showing minor rubbing on the back at the top probably where sofa has had contact with a wall. Back center turned foot with chip to stained wood.
