Camille Bouchet (French, 1799-1890), "Cognac Jacquet", vintage advertising poster on paper, signed within matrix lower right "Bouchet". Large alcohol advertising poster with a majestic peacock with long feathered tail standing on top edge of wall with claw on glass bottle of cognac in an outdoor garden setting at sunset. Leftside margin with publishing information in blue "IMPIE PUBLTE ETABLTS VERCASSON 6.r. Martel, PARIS". Framed approximately 70.25" x 54". Unframed approximately 61.63" x 47.25".
Condition
Original vintage poster laid down on canvas like material to help support work. Colors rich and appear to not be faded. Minor scratch to lower left (approximately 3.5 inches in length). No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
