Victor Pasmore, R.A. (British, 1908-1998), "Metamorphosis" (L.G41)-1986, etching and aquatint in color on Fabriano Rosaspina paper, limited edition numbered in pencil "62/90" lower left margin, monogrammed in pencil and dated lower right margin, published and printed by Stamperia d'Arte, 2RC Edizioni d'Arte, Rome with their two blindstamps in lower left corner. Monumental abstract print work depicting a long rectangular expanse in golden amber brown with floating cream colored smaller rectangular form at center with black cloudy and fluid patches and spots recalling smoke and ink with scattered white organic clouding on top of darker zones in some places. Framed approximately 39.25" x 99.75". Sight size approximately 30" x 89.25".
Work not examined outside of frame. Frame front with plexiglas. Colors rich and vibrant without signs of fading. Light handling wear visible to lower bottom edge to right of work and in upper right corner. No signs of rips, tears or holes. No signs of foxing or toning to sheet.
