- Lot Description
Murano (Italian (Venetian), 20th century). A petite glass box or casket decorated with multicolored glass ribbons in shades of cranberry, indigo, gold, rose, and mint punctuated by white lattice design latticino ribbons, the dome lid decorated with radiating ribbons tracing to the brass trim with brass leaf pattern, the lower case decorated with conforming horizontal ribbons terminating in radiating ribbons at the bottom of the case. Approximate height 5", width 5.25", depth 3.75". From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Very minor oxidation to the gilt trim. Scattered areas with included small circular bubbles as well as elongated bubbles (under surface). Very minor dark specks or inclusions, not distracting. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
