- Lot Description
Jerome Massier (French, b.1850). A Vallauris iridized pottery vase of elongated flask form decorated with line drawings of crescent moons, circles, and diamond patterns, some surrounding depictions of birds, dogs, rats, sunsets, and floral patterning. Iridescent signature to underside "Jerome Massier Fils Vallauris 'AM'" over clover form, with remnant of paper label "Jerome Massier", and impressed mark "Jerome Massier Vallauris". Approximate height 14.375", diameter of mouth 3.5".
Condition
Overall very good condition. Minor flaws to iridized surface. Minor scratches. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
