Mont Joye (French, late 19th/ early 20th century). A unique art glass vase of pear form with quatrefoil mouth and four twisted applied loop handles to shoulder connecting to neck, the body of ombre light blue to clear color with hand painted enamel and gilt flower stem with iris bud and blossom, with polished pontil. Approximate height 7.8", mouth measures approximately 4" x 3.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Minor wear to the gilt enamel on rim. Scattered included small and elongated bubbles (under surface). Wear to base as would be expected with age and contact with surface.
