Jacomo Paris (French, mid 20th century), circa 1960s. A group of two ladies purses comprising one shoulder bag of rectangular form in black python skin with mixed metal gold and silver tone snake chain straps, the planar sides of the bag with two reticulations to each side through which the chain strap is visible, the bag with accordion style opening at top with white metal finial closure, the main compartment at center lined in emerald green leather with lipstick pocket and two larger pockets, the main compartment flanked by two further envelope pockets outside the frame, accompanied with original green leather backed cosmetic mirror; the second bag attributed to Jacomo Paris and constructed of fine black alligator or crocodile skin, the rectangular bag with front flap closure secured by unique gold tone twisting clasp with reeded decoration, also with loop purse handle mounted on two fixed gold tone rings to top of bag, the bag opening to reveal a large central compartment with accordion bottom with two envelope pockets and one zippered pocket to interior, also with one envelope pocket to exterior of main compartment with opening above purse closure. Mixed metal purse with tag to interior "Cree a Paris par Jacomo". Alligator purse unmarked. Mixed metal purse body approximately 6.75" x 7.375" x 2.735, strap drop 11.25". Alligator bag body approximately 6.5" x 8.5" x 2.25", strap drop 5".
