- Lot Description
English, early 20th century. A group of two sterling mounted walking sticks comprising of one c.1900 with sterling engraved tip to each end of handle, hallmarked possibly for Marston & Bayliss Birmingham, the ebonized shaft also mounted with a floral engraved band further hallmarked terminating in metal ferrule and tip, 35 7/8" long; and one with bright cut floral motif crook handle of sterling silver, the neck engraved “Alice Gray Shefford”, the collar with very faint outline of hallmarks indicating London with leopard head, the wood shaft likely bamboo terminating in a metal ferrule and tip, 35.75" long.
