Gale Wagner (American, 20th century). A collection of two satirical pop art prints by American artist Gale Wagner, comprising "Composite #3"-1973, lithograph in colors on paper, apparently unsigned, label to verso detailing artist, title and date, print depicting four oversized stamps, each with depictions of male politicians and Washington insiders associated with the Watergate scandal of 1972, including President Richard Nixon (American, 1913-1994), Attorney General John Mitchell (American, 1913-1988), Harry Robbins Haldeman (American, 1926-1993) and John Daniel Ehrlichman (American, 1925-1999), each figure's portrait with satirical caption "Truth", "Honesty", "Clarity", and "Sincerity"; and "Untitled (Composition #4)"-circa 1974, lithograph in colors on paper, apparently unsigned, with label removed to verso, print depicting four oversized stamps, each with depictions of President Richard Nixon (American, 1913-1994), three oversized stamps with locations of the president's homes (taxpayer funds were allegedly used to improve the private properties owned by the then-President) depicted behind the president's portrait including San Clemente, Key Biscayne and Watergate, on oversized stamp with satirical caption "Truth Clarity Honesty Sincerity Integrity". "Composition #3" framed approximately 19.25" x 19.25"; sight approximately 16" x 16".
