• Lot Description
  A group of two pietra dura marble inlaid dishes comprising one presented by Lieutenant General Sardar F S Lodi, the 8th Governor of Balochistan, to Prince Faisal M. Saud al Kabir, the dish of round form in light green hard stone with white veining and having open handles to either side and bearing inlaid mother of pearl in a radiating floral pattern; the other of translucent white stone in a round form with similar inlaid mother of pearl floral motif. Each dish in a fitted presentation box covered in green velvet. Green tray with plaque inscribed "Presented by / Lt Gen Sardar F S Lodi / and all officers 4 corps". Green tray/dish approximate width across handles 15". White dish diameter 12".
