- Lot Description
Mdina (Malta, founded 1968). Group of two art glass cut ice "fish" vases in Michael Harris' (English, 1933-1994) most iconic form with sienna brown striations throughout center of thick clear and light green molten glass. Each incised on bottom "Mdina 1980". Shorter vase approximate height 8.75", width 7.75", depth 2.5". Taller vase approximate height 10.75", width 8.25", depth 2.25".
Condition
Larger vase with internal flaw with black striation of color, not overly distracting. Minor sticker residue. Smaller vase with flea bite on edge near shoulder. Both vases with minor surface scratches and wear to bases, commensurate with age and usage.
