Japanese, 20th century. Pair of unmatched cloisonne enamel table vases comprising of a larger vase with silvered rim above body with floral spray with chrysanthemums and flying birds on bright blue ground; a slightly smaller vase with silvered rim above bamboo sprig with flying birds and flowers against deep navy blue ground. Both unmarked. Larger vase approximate height 7.25", diameter of rim 2.5". Smaller vase approximate height 7.125", diameter of rim 1.9".
Deep navy blue vase is overall very good condition. Very minor surface scratches. Silver shows some tarnishing with a couple of small dents to the silver rim on base. Small minor loss of finish on the bottom. Blue vase has what appears to be a crazing fractures under the glaze. Some minor pitting observed under loop.
