French, late 19th/ early 20th century. A collection of two hand painted enamel diminutive vases, one of baluster form with allover deep red enamel and a young beauty in full length to front, the other of beaker form with young beauty in red dress in a landscape on tondo to bottle. Baluster vase unsigned. Beaker vase signed to side "Hern". Baluster vase approximate height 2.875". Beaker vase approximate height 4.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Baluster vase with gilt loss to landscape behind figure, scratches to underside commensurate with age. Beaker vase with minor pitting to parasol handle and minor gilt loss allover, the foot with glazing imperfections and minor area of loss. Each with expected minor scratches to surface commensurate with age. Under blacklight examination, no apparent repairs.
