Ancient Luristan small bronze doubled axe-head, Luristan empire, circa 800-600 BC, with a lucite stand, apparently unmarked; and a copper spearhead, likely from Cyprus, circa 1850-2200 BC with a typical bent tang for attachment to the throwing shaft, mounted on a lucite stand and apparently unmarked. Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA; acquired from Phillips, December 2, 1995, Sale 741, Lot 180.
Approximate dimensions: ax, h.1.125" l. 3.875", w. 1.625" spear point h. 8" w. 3.5"
Axe head is in very good shape with an even verdigris patination, the spear head has typical green patina with some copper showing and some period blade edge denting.
