American School, 20th century. A collection of two whimsical figural dragon pottery pieces comprising of one large piece depicting a friendly humanoid dragon in repose leaning up on one bent arm with other bent arm at chest and bent legs meeting at the feet, the arms, back, and legs covered in teal blue divoted scales, the chest and belly with white ribbed surface, and the shoulders and spine bearing peaked wings; and a figural bust of a dragon on round foot with tall cross hatched white neck surmounted by flattened and comical blue head with two white teeth emerging from either side of mouth, large nostrils to end of snout, and spiked rows along spine and back of head. Reclining dragon unmarked, dragon bust monogrammed and dated "7/84" to underside. Reclining dragon approximately 10.75" tall, 20" wide, 13.5" deep. Dragon bust approximately 11.75" tall, 5.5" wide, 7" deep.
