Continental, late 19th/ early 20th century. A Dutch motif blown glass with sterling silver overlay cordial decanter and glass set, the collection with six matching glasses having etched motif on glass of windmills and trees, and repousse handled holders decorated with c scrolls and flower blossoms. The decanter having etched motif on tondo of a Dutch waterscape scene with sailboats, windmills, and architecture, with silver overlay around base with repousse decoration of figural groupings within a landscape, and repousse silver band around opening with c scrolls and figures, with ball form finial overlaid in silver with indistinguishable Glasses marked to underside of holder "Sterling". Dutch language. Decanter approximately 8" tall, glasses approximately 2" tall.
Overlay wiring around stopper is not connected therefore overlay is a bit loose (see image #10). The stopper has a minute flea bite to the bottom. Light surface scratches, not distracting are overly noticeable.
