• Lot Description
  Elsie Kalan (American, 20th century) for J.P. Allen (American, founded 1928), circa mid-20th century. A collection of six mid-century fashion sketches for J.P. Allen, counted among the legendary department stores of the southern United States, each sketch with graphite, colored pencil and watercolor on paper, each sketch depicting women modeling the latest fashions. Each sketch of varying sizes, the smallest overall approximately 12.75" x 10'; the largest overall approximately 14.425" x 11.5".
