- Lot Description
Ladies Victorian handmade shell carved cameo brooch depicting a figure with long curled hair in profile with winged and scaled dragon or serpent wrapped around neck, likely a portrayal of a mythological figure. Unsigned. Pin stem composed of brass, other elements in 8k yellow gold. Unmarked, but quality tested as 8k. Brooch measures approximately 1.25" x 1". Total weight approximately 5 grams.
Condition
Very good condition overall. Light wear around mounts. Right side prong setting possibly missing tip. Slight surface scratches to metal, commensurate with usage & light handling. Would benefit from light professional cleaning.
