- Lot Description
Seymour Meyer (American (New York), 1914-2009). "Abstract Form", chromed bronze, edition 1/9, impressed signature to base of form. Tall tabletop chromed bronze sculpture of amorphous form with three round piercings to center of body creating fluid cavities over an otherwise beveled and inverted form, mounted to an ebonized square wooden plinth. Overall approximately 21.5" tall, 7.25" square.
Condition
Light scattered surface scratches from occasional handling. Some scattered speckling to finish likely from cleaning agent. Small area of oxidation or corrosion on interior of sculptural element. No signs of dents, dings or chips. Patina fairly even. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
