- Lot Description
Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904), circa 1885-1904. A set of three striking Art Nouveau nesting tables comprising one larger table and two smaller tables fitting beneath the former, each with a fruitwood intarsia marquetry top with floral motifs and Galle signature, on cherry base with tapering fluted legs. Each table with inlaid signature to top surface "Galle". Larger table approximate height 16", width 30.75", depth 17.75", smaller tables approximate height 14.75", width 17.25", depth 14".
Condition
Tables in excellent condition overall. All inlay intact. A few minor indentations and abrasions to wood at edges commensurate with age and use.
