- Lot Description
A set of eight contemporary Regency style paint and parcel gilt decorated Klismos form chairs having curved paneled top rail decorated with guilloche over a serpentine shaped padded and upholstered drop-in seat raised on slightly sabre legs. Plaque label to underside for Handicraft. Approximate height 34, width 20.5", seat depth 15", seat height 17.5".
Condition
Losses, nicks, dings, and chipping to paint overall. One with crack to knee at front left leg. Staining to seats. Some seam separation. Frames appear to be stable overall - could benefit from repainting, repair, and reupholstery.
