20th century. Set of eight matching French Deco style modern armchairs in burled walnut finish wood with undulating back and flared squared ears with two pierced holes (likely with upholstered back mount at an earlier date) with simplified scrolled arms, ebonized seat and tapered stylized incurvate legs. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 33.25", width 24", depth 21.5", seat to floor 16.75".
All chairs are structurally sound. There are holes to back of chairs from previous mounted cushions. Scattered scratches and nicks commensurate with usage. 4 chairs with what appears to be teeth marks to the back legs.
