Austrian, late 19th / early 20th century. Set of six faience majolica dessert plates with yellow and pale pink chrysanthemum motif, four plates with underglaze impressed maker's mark for Josef Steidl (Austrian, 19th/20th century) of Znaim, Austria, six plates with underglaze impressed numeral "800". Each diameter approximately 7.75".
Overall with dirt and grime throughout; may benefit from light professional cleaning. Overall with light crazing to glazing. Overall with firing and glazing imperfections to underside. Three plates with minor chips and fleabites with rims, not distracting. Three with minor chips to feet, apparently stable and commensurate with surface contact and use.
