Chinese, 18th/19th century. A set of six porcelain plates hand painted in the Mandarin style, each with central figural tondo depicting three figures at play in a garden: one tightrope walker, one knife juggler, and one musician - the wide saucer rim with a band of pink diaper patterning punctuated by shaped medallions bearing floral and foliate patterns. Unmarked. Diameter of each approximately 9.25".
Each with enamels in excellent condition. All with minor nicks and chips to rim. All with scattered glazing imperfections, predominately visible on underside. One plate with x form hairline fracture on underside, however, appears structurally stable. Under black light, no plates with signs of further damage, loss or repair.
