- Lot Description
Eero Saarinen (Finnish/American, 1910-1961) for Knoll International. Matched set of four "Executive" side chairs circa 1950s, the fluid, sculptural formed armless chair is covered in red fabric raised on metal legs. One chair retains Knoll International tag to underside. Approximate height 31.25", width 22", seat depth 15", seat height 18.5".
Condition
All chairs are structurally sound. Black felt to metal discs on feet are loose, one missing to one chair. There are some newer screws and mounts to underside of chairs. One chair with loose screws that will need to be tightened. Fabric is in good condition with no rips, tears or odors. There is minor oxidation and surface scratches to the legs commensurate with age and usage.
